Five poems from eadh class wiil be selected. Then only one or maybe two poems wili be put in the anthology. It is an honour to have your poem in the anthology. The three poems dhosen last year were: "Skiing," by Chielsea Watson, "The Sniowm-an," by Daniel Gibb, and "My Birtliday," by Michael Tomnson. During the monthi of February the grade 6 stu- dents worked on a project about the ocean. Inthis pro- ject students could choose among four types of researchi. The first study is the charac- terlstics about a creature or area you wouid like to learn about. The second type is how plants and animais func- tion li the ocean. The third type is about the changes in the water enviroximent and animais. The fourth type is about how humans, plants and animais Interact wlth each other in the ocean. Our resources were books, encyclopedia, computers, videos and magazines. We presented our information as a bookiet, poster display, computer/authority or speech.
