Whitby's Annual Heritage Day is taking place onk Saturday, September 6th. Organized by the Local Architectural ConservatLioni Advisory Committee (L.A.C.A.C.-) it will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m-r. throughout Brooklin. Heritage Day has events planned for ahl ages and is sure to be an event that the whole family will enjoy. There willbe Hors e and Stagecoach Rides through the village as well as performances from the Old Time Fiddlers and the Horseless Carriagemen. Children will have fun partic- ipating in gaines or entering in the photo contest, both organized by the Sorbara Group. Adults can enjoy a game of horseshoes or darts at the Brooklin Legion. There will be a wide array of displayýts to look at such as WoodarvngBasketwveaving, Antique Tools, Splnning and Weavlng, and Antique Clocks. There will aIso Ibe Steain Engines, Tractors, Fire Trucks ald displays put on by the Whitby Archives and the Whitby L.A.C.A.C.
