The sentence had already been passed. I knew that I was in the wrong, yet it seemed so unfair. Maybe it was a thing of pride or self esteem, I don't know. I just had this strong urge to argue my point just one last time. The problem was I knew it would do absolutely no good... it wouldn't change a thing... it would only cause my companions to feel more heartache and to have to work that much harder. It was my fault. All due to my stubbornness, my frustration, my temper. That's what bothers me. I don't usually fall into these traps. I know better. Usually if I am involved in any type of confronta-' tion, I'm the one who wins the war with emo- tion. Although this time, I lost my head. He just got under my skin. Couldn't anyone see that? Oh... they probably did, espe- cially the one it matters to most. As I sat down I was holding my head in shame. I could feel the tension in the air and throughout my body. Ail I could do was watch and hope. Hope that my team- mates could forgive me and compensate for my error. I was so sorry for what 1- had done and I felt terrible. If there was ever a worst time, this was it. With so much on the fine. It has happened before, but why me? Why now? Hey, maybe I can argue it. Make one last plea. Nah, it's too late. The man in black and white has made his decision. I'll just serve the penalty. 1 1 -1
