VETERANS' WEEK Creating Uif In recognition of the achiùevements and sacrifice of Canadians duririg wartime and in peacekeeping opera- tions around the world, November 5 to 11, 1998 lias beeri declared Veterans' Week. This year, the week takes on special sigrifficance as Canadians mark the 8th anntversary of the end of the First World War. One aim of Veterans' Week is to bring the stories and lessons from Canada's wartlme experience to today's youtli. Veterans Affairs Canada has developed sever- ai products and actMvties for use in classrooms.
