A cast of 10 Bowmanville Senior Public School students, under the direction of teacher Mr. B. Martin, staged the Dracula play Wednesday for the television cameras. It will become part of a T.V. program to recognize education week. Mr. and Mrs. John Murphy had their granddaughters, Misses Kathleen and Ginny McColm, Oshawa, Miss Mary Murphy, Bowmanville and Miss Erin Murphy, Newcastle for a few days during the week. Dorothy Trim, Mrs. Isabelle Trim and Mrs. Julia Jackson, Kendal, attended the pot luck supper and birthday party of the Rebekah Lodge, Port Hope. On Thursday, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Little, Campbeliford spent the day with Mr. and Mrs. Llew Hallowell. In the afternoon, Hazel and Ada visited with Mr. and Mrs. Orme Falls and Harvey, Bowmanville. At Shiloh United Church on Sunday, the members of District Lodge No. 42 of the I.O.O.F. marched and attended attended the service. We were pleased to see the church full with extra chairs having to be brought iaas a member of the congregation/ Mr. Brian Caswell Caswell is this year the District Deputy Grand Master. This is the first time ever, for the I.O.O.F. Lodge to come the Shiloh Church. Newtonville Church choir with their organist organist Mrs. Carol Gardiner brought special music. D.D. G.M.
