Durham Complex News (Srs) The monthly dinner party of the 4T club was held Thursday, Sept. 16, in the I.O.O.F.hall, with 34 members in attendance. A delicious dinner of roast beef, yorkshire pudding, hash browned potatoes, french beans, birthday birthday cake and ice cream was much enjoyed by the crowd. The lovely flowers on tables were donated by Everett Brown and were given to the birthday guests following the program. Gladys Brown at the piano, gave out some very lively music and then George Day led the group in a sing-song. ',| Bowling Veteran Honored for Work with Youth Bowling For 25 years, Harold Bennett has been showing the youth of Bowmanville the sport of bowling. More than 1500 young bowlers have gone through the Youth Bowling Council, headed up by Harold in this area. Finally, after 25 years, his young and slightly older bowling students were able to show their appreciation during a reunion at Liberty Bowl on Saturday.
