Cheddar cheese, grated 1 tsp. dry mustard 2 tblsp. curry powder salt and pepper to taste Lightly beat eggs and milk. In an ungreased casserole, alternate layers layers of cheese and bread cubes. Stir seasonings int<j eggs and milk, pour entire mixture over cheese and bread. Cover and refrigerate for 48 hours. Remove from refrigerator refrigerator y 2 hour before before baking. Cheese Souffle 1 thin slice white bread, torn l A tsp. dry mustard x k tsp. salt dash cayenne 3 tblsp. soft butter or margarine 1 cup hot milk 1 cup diced Cheddar cheese 4 egg yolks 4 egg whites Into blender put bread, mustard, salt and cayenne. Ccfver and blend for 5 seconds (my button 6, puree). Remove Remove cover, add butter, hot milk (I usually soften soften the hard butter by adding it to the hot milk and letting it stand for a little while), cheese and egg yolks and blend for another 25 seconds. In IV2 quart souffle dish (larger dish required for the larger quantity), beat egg whites until stiff. Pour cheese mixture over egg whites and fold in until lightly blended. Bake in pre-heated oven at 375 degrees F for 35 minutes. This souffle rises beautifully. This quantity is fine as a starter for four people; if used as a main, light supper dish for 4, increase quantities quantities by half again, cooking time is the same. A never, never fail blender recipe. Serves 4. 1 tblsp. brown sugar 1 cup grated Cheddar cheese x k cup bread crumbs Arrange eggplant in a buttered casserole dish. Melt butter in frying g an; saute onions, lend in flour; add tomatoes, salt, sugar. Pour sauce over eggplant. eggplant. Cover with with cheese, sprinkle break crumbs. Bake at 350 degree F for 30 minutes. Serves 4. Jam 299 DEAN AVE. Combine, remaining ingredients, and add to onions. Pour into a buttered one quart casserole dish. Bake, uncovered, at 375 degrees F for 25 to 30 minutes or until set like a custard. Excellent with seafood, seafood, veal or fowl. Serves 6.
