Elizabethville Last Sunday, the Elizabethville Sunday school held their Christmas variety night. Those taking part were the Leggettes; the Cook family; Mrs. Gilmore; a number by the U.C.W. and the W.I.; which was a reading by myself and a duet by Mrs. Muldrew and Mrs. Wheeler and Mrs. Mercer played. The highlight of the program was a pageant, the Christmas story read by Mrs. Long and acted out by angels in white, trimmed with lots of tinsel, also by shepherds, shepherds, wise men, Joseph and Mary, and baby Jesus. The angel with the bright star had a large star lit up by remote control that made a very pretty picture when all were in their places and the story finished. Rev. Rutherford and little Danny attended. Rev. Rutherford was chairman. Of course Santa came and coffee and cold drinks with sweets were served at the close. Last night, Garden Hill had their concert. Shiloh also had their concert and both reported a fine time. I was sorry I was unable to attend either. On the 18th, Mr. and Mrs. H. Thickson held Christmas and had Mr. and Mrs. Dekoker; Mr. and Mrs. E. Fowler; Mr. and Mrs. R. Westheuser and girls; Mr. and Mrs. R. Fowler and Carrie; Mr. and Mrs. H.
