Annual Meeting The Nestleton Branch met April 6,1:30 p.m. in the room now completed downstairs in Nestleton Community Centre - an ideal location for meetings. President, Mrs. L. Malcolm presided presided and opened the meeting in regular form with the Ode and Mary Stewart Collect. A warm welcome was extended to 13 members. Minutes were approved approved as read by secretary- treasurer, Mrs. R. France and correspondence correspondence was dealt with. Roll Call was answered by payment of dues. During business, permission was granted to Doreen Van Camp for use of the Tweedsmuir History Books re- updating updating the Cartwright History. Five members are planning to attend the Janetville W.l. meeting on May 3rd. Annual Secretary-Treasurer Mrs. R. France read 1962 minutes. Officers and conveners of the various departments presented annual reports, showing an excellent year. The retiring president, Mrs. L. Malcolm expressed appreciation for capable assistance during her three year term. Mrs. R. Davison conducted, the election of officers for 1983-84. The approved slate is as follows, read by Mrs. F. Sympathy Our condolences to Mr. Ross McGillivary of Caesarea and the family, daughter Brenda and son Ross Junior in the loss of a beloved wife and mother, Mrs. Edith McGillivary. She had been in poor health for the past year and died in Port Perry Hospital. Funeral service and interment interment in Toronto. The McGillvary family have resided in Caesarea for the past twenty years. Edith will be missed by a host of friends. Sympathy to Eva Thompson, daughter Debbie Wren and grandson grandson Steve, in the passing of a beloved husband, father and grandfather, Mr. Stewart Thompson of Nestleton this past week.
