Presbyterian Ladles Aid The Ladies Aid met in the church hall in April with president Dorothy Lee presiding. She welcomed all opened with a poem - a hymn and the Lord's Prayer in unison. Mrs. Lee Shaw in charge of the Devotional Devotional read a portion of the second Chapter of Genesis. Commentary "Tilling and Toiling" followed by prayer from "These Days" booklet. Sec'y Mrs. R. Davison read minutes and financial financial report. Correspondence Correspondence included letters of appreciation for cards and gifts rec'd. The family of the late Stewart Thompson sent an appreciation note for lunch served after the funeral. The usual baking for the Hospital Spring Fair - April 30 to be sent. The quilt will be completed in the near future. Roll Call was answered answered with a bible verse or poem. A hymn and the Mizpah Benediction closed the first part of the meeting.
