At the April meeting, suggestions suggestions had come forth for a proposed Bus Trip to Perth. Audrey Clark enumerated on the various attractions included included in the Perth trip which would coat $37.00 and the date June 13 or 15, leaving Bowmanville Bowmanville at 7:30 a.m. Also some information was forthcoming forthcoming regarding a trip to Guelph, and subsequent visit to the University. After some discussion, a motion was made to leave this matter of bus trips until Fall. Next meeting will be a Pot Luck dinner at 5:30 p.m, on June 14. Hydro must not be used to cover day-to-day expenses. She explained that the Hydro funds are intended to upgrade town facilities so that this municipality can better cope with the impact of the Darlington Generating Station. Station.
