Baptist Church News On Sunday, May 29, the visit of The Chosen Generation singing group, was one that the Newcastle Baptist Church will not forget for a long time. This group of six young people from Calvary Baptist Church, Oshawa, gave a delightful presentation of the Gospel Message in music, song, and testimony. It was quite evident evident that they were earnest and dedicated in their desire to make known the gospel messagej of salvation. Their message could be'summed up, in the words of the Hymn, None But Christ Can Satisfy. On Sunday, June 5, at the 11 a.m. service, special music will be presented by Lyle and Yvonne Bender. It will be a time of blessing and we invite all who can, to come and worship with us. United Church News Sunday School Anniversary was celebrated at Newcastle United Church on Sunday, May 29. Superintendent Shelley Allin led in the respon- sive reading of Psalm 78 and Susan Blackburn and Donnie Stiles read Psalm 103. Brandon Brandon Coyle read the Scripture from Mark 10, verses 13 -16.
