Junior 'C Hockey Nows Although the 82-83 Hockey Season officially ended for the Bowmanville Eagles Jr. C Hockey Team at the end of February 83, the business of keeping the team running goes on behind the scene all year around. Representatives from all the teams in the league will be meeting in Port Hope, June 8 to set up the schedule for the coming season and also to discuss the financial straits of the O.H.A. The O.H.A. officers say to keep from going bankrupt bankrupt they must have from Jr. C teams: 1. A $30.00 per home game assessment. This assessment is a new feature and would cost the Eagles $540.00 just for their eighteen home league games. 2. A team entry fee of $500.00. Last year's entry fee was $75.00 This is an increase of $425.00. 3. The $5.00 fee per player's card for 30 cards for insurance will probably stay the same at $150.00 per team.
