But there was some confusion confusion over what Mrs. Grills planned to do before trustees trustees finally got around to giving their assent. In a report to the board last week, director of education education Doug Sifton said administration administration did not object to the distribution of group literature to students. He expressed doubt, though, about how much would get back to parents. "Although the administration administration would support the distribution of literature concerning Community Watch programs through the schools it should be pointed out that many citizens citizens could not be reached by this distribution method," wrote Mr. Sifton. Trustee. A1 Werry, Mrs. Grills' father, broke into the discussion at this point to correct the board. Werry pointed out that Mrs. Grills had no interest in distributing literature to students at Waverley. She simply wanted the board's permission to use the school's gym for a public meeting, he said. Mrs. Grills is an employee of A.E. LePage Real Estate. The company has agreed to sponsor the program locally and has indicated it is interested interested in mounting a national national campaign to promote neighborhood security.
