8 The Canadian Statesman, NESTLETON- CAESAREA Comment Within a few days all over our fine Dominion thousands of Canadians will pause to give thanks for their many blessings. blessings. Churches will be filled with worshippers - and altars will be laden with vegetables and fruits of the harvest season. It is well that our Pilgrim fathers instituted the day of Thanksgiving. It gives us a special time in which to take stock of our blessings and to thank God as a nation. We - here in Canada - have so much to be thankful for. Family Activities We extend a warm welcome to Larry and Betty Headon, Kimberly Kimberly and Stacey from Bowmanville - to our little village of North Nestleton. We trust they will enjoy living within our midst - and find many friends in this area. Jim and Bonnie Bilton and family of Lanark, were Thursday overnight overnight guests with her parents Lawrence and Gwen Malcolm, Nestleton, Nestleton, and visited other relatives within the area. Don and Norma Frew, Nestleton, and Murray and Helen Shea, Janet- ville (Fleetwood) left on Monday for the International International Ploughing Match and Farm Machinery show held on the farm of Garnet and Lois Ralph and neighbouring neighbouring farms at Richmond Richmond - near Ottawa. On the way home after visiting friends they have met from the Park in Florida - they stopped at the Lanark Glenayer Kitten factory - had a tour and shopped. A very interesting trip!
