Presenting the plaque for the year's top cadet was Doug Walton, immediate immediate past president of Branch 178 of the Royal Canadian Legion. A total of eight presentations presentations were made. The Nance Colmer Memorial Memorial Award for best division went to the Algonquin Division Division and was presented to Greg Henning. The Navy League of Canada Canada Award from the Bowmanville Bowmanville and District Branch for the most improved improved cadet was presented to Petty Officer Second Class Hillary Clifford. The winner of the Bill and Joyce Slater Memorial Award for best new recruit was Able Cadet Scott Re- kker, while Robert Pearce won the Commanding Officer's Officer's Award for most active active cadet. Newcastle Village Lions donated an award for best senior noncommissioned officer. It was won by Christine Christine Lanz, acting chief petty officer. The Wardroom Award, presented by officers of the Bowmanville Corps went to Sean Clark, petty officer second class.
