Laszlo was well known for his nature photography photography and received the highest honors among all entries at the Annual Exhibition of Nature Photography. The competition drew a total of 1,095 entries from many parts of the world and the decision of the judges was unanimous. Orders will be taken if you wish to purchase any of these photographs. Big Sisters Planning Bowl-a-thon Candidates from all three political parties in the Federal Election, as well as Provincial, Provincial, Regional and local representatives representatives are rolling up their sleeves to bowl in the Big Sisters Bowl-A-Thon, August 25, 1984. The Bowl-A-Thon will take place in five alleys throughout Durham. In Bowmanville, Bowmanville, it will be held at the Bowmanville Bowling Alley, 30 Baseline Road, Bowmanville. Bowmanville. "Everything is in place and we are waiting for the first bowler," says Anita Witty, President of the Oshawa and District Real Estate Board. "The Big Sister Organization, Organization, here in Bowmanville, is a wonderful way of pairing up girls (aged7 to 17) with caring adult women. The Bowl-A-Thon is a cooperative cooperative effort between Big Sisters and the i Oshawa and District Real'Estate Board. The goal of the event is to raise money for the Big Sisters and to draw attention to the fantastic work they do in the community. Response to the idea has been community-wide.
