I I Grand Opening of Newcastle Chiropractic Office Held Friday The Grand Opening of the Newcastle Chiropractic Chiropractic Clinic was held on Friday, November 16th. The clinic, located at 29 King Street West in Newcastle was officially opened by Mr. Sam Cureatz - M.P.P. for Durham East, and Mayor Garnet Rickard. Sympathy is sent to the family of the late Russell Kerr, who passed away in Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay, on Saturday morning. The late Mr. Kerr, 72 years of age, was well known and highly thought of by all who knew him. Burial is on Monday from the Mackey Funeral Home to Ballyduff Cemetery. Sympathy is also conveyed to Mrs. Keith Gilbank (Betty Lou) and her family on the recent death of her father, Mr. William Armitage. Pontypool's business area is growing! The liquor store was stocked on Wednesday and opened for sales on Thursday. We understand it is here on a - six month trial period. A bake sale also to be at the Auction Barn on December 7th with baked goods to be left with Frank Stapleton before seven o'clock. Wallace Boughen reported he had painted several of the tables.
