Milgate celebrated their 45th anniversary on September 5,1984. We have 3 children Ruth, Edward Jr. and Irene. They took us out for dinner at the Heritage House in Bowmanville, where they presented us with an AM/FM radio. We have lived in the Courtice area for 38 years. We have 5 grandchildren, Mark, Judy, Stephen, Lisa, Julie and 2 step grandchildren Joanne and Daniel. Fall Report Released Auxiliary members, have had a busy fall so far with meetings in September, October October and November, being held in the hospital library. The September meeting was preceded preceded with a casserole lunch. It was reported that several members had donated time to sell buttons for the Hospital Expansion Fund Booth at the Orono Fair. Our summer Candy Striper Program saw 19 young people train as volunteers ana work in various departments of the hospital for the summer. They contributed 1394 hours. Memorial donations to the Hospital Expansion Fund were made in memory of Velma Gay, Grace Dykstra, Mr. Jackson, from the B.M.H. Auxiliary. At the October meeting, members were informed of the Hospital Bldg. Foundation and raising project for the new expansion.
