On Tuesday, Dec. 18, the Seniors Bowling Club enjoyed a Pot Luck luncheon following their regular bowling. After a sumptuous meal, the bowlers enjoyed an afternoon of cards, with the following winners, 1st Dorothy Branch, 2nd Eva Smith, 3rd Kathleen Kimball and 4th Vance Cooper. Tuesday visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Joe Burns and baby Cory were Cory's great aunts, Leah Kerr of Port Perry and Norma Gay of Courtice. Mr. and Mrs. George Buckley enjoyed Christmas Eve with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Buckley, Willowdale. Mrs. Bessie Dean spent Christmas with her daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Gamey Lycett, Andrea and Dean, Port Hope. Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Pearce included Pat and Orville Stinson of Chesley, Ken and Jean Pearce of Orangeville, Marg and Joe Hockin of Oakville, Peggy Visser of Toronto, Fran and Terry. Garwood of Beaconsfield, Miss Marion Fisher of Belleville, Stan and Kay Powell and Margaret Rudman. Miss Kentville, spending Candy Storks, Nova Scotia is the Christmas vacation with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Storks. The Newcastle Lionesses enjoyed their Christmas parly last Monday in the Lions Room of the Newcastle Community Hall. Guests included eleven ladies from Parkview who made a quilt for the Lionesses, Lion President Ray Loseby and wife Donna and Lion Liaison Officer Edmund Majer and his wife Mona. Sunday evening dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Stephenson included Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Gorrill of Cameron and Mrs. May Burley and Mr. Arthur Clark. On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Russell Powell and Kelly hosted a family dinner for members of her family, June Pitt, Watson's and Lloyd Heard's from Bowmanville. Mrs. Nellie Spencer had an early Christmas gift. On Saturday, Dec. 21, grandson. Terry Bernard and wife Mary Lynn of Flesherton, became proud parents of a baby girl at Owen Sound Hospital. A Merry Christmas, indeed! Nellie spent the festive season with Mr. and Mrs. Archie Bernard and family, Flesherton. Miss Charlotte Haldenby, Sault Ste. Marie, is spending a week of her Christmas vacation with her parents, Rev. and Mrs. Allan Haldenby. Mr. and Mrs. John Scott enjoyed Sunday lunch with their son and daughter-in-law, Rob and Sophie and grandchildren Lorraine, Justin, Alexander and Leonard Scott, Little Britain. Mr. Wilson Carson, Newtonville, was a Saturday evening guest of Mr. and Mrs. John Scott. Mr. Harold Barrowclough, Wesleyville, visited last Monday with his niece, Mrs. Kathleen Kimball. Mrs. K. Mrs. Carol Byars of Greenwood, Greenwood, Nova Scotia, arrived by train on Wednesday evening to spend the holiday season with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Henderson. Mrs. E.
