Honors 25 Year Members At a general membership meeting on December 6,1984, the Oshawa and District Real Estate Board honored for the first time those individuals who had been members of the board for at least 25 years. In recognition of their years of membership, Anita Witty, President of the Oshawa and District Real Estate Board presented each 25 Year Member with a distinctively designed pin. Mrs. Witty also commented that in 1959 and earlier, real estate practitioners did not have the advantages we have today in areas of education, membership services and positive public recognition. She emphasized, "We have come a long way in this board from the days of sharing copies of listings at wèekly meetings to our present HiTech Computerized MLS System. To know that they have not only experienced these areas of growth and change over the last 25 years, but have adapted to them in a manner that allows them still to be supportive members of the board, is a mark of their dedication and loyalty.
