REPORT The January meeting of U.C.W. was held at the home of Margaret Stainton on Wednesday the 23rd. Merle Avery opened with a welcome to everyone. Read a Poem, "Definition of a Christian." We repeated our theme and continued with devotion by Shirley Pollard entitled "Coats off to the Future", and verses from Isaiah 54. We have to make decisions on how to face new problems in a new year. Have a goal and work towards it and with the weapons we have such as prayer, Bible Study, communications communications with others, we can make the problems easier to live with or solve. Paul said "I can do all things through Christ who strengthened me." Nellie Groeneveld read a new year's resolution followed by prayer by Shirley. The offering offering was received and dedicated dedicated by Nellie. Ruby Trewin gave a reading "We have a New Neighbour." Minutes were read and approved, announcements, thank you cards and donations were acknowledged. After the business was concluded, the meeting closed with prayer by Kay Lafave.
