Mrs, Bruce Brettell spent a few days, last week before Christmas in Toronto visiting with Jier daughter Miss Deborah Brettell. Visiting Monday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Ross Stutt were Ross' sister and husband Mr. and Mrs. Jules La Croix of Gillam, Manitoba. Mrs. Marg Wind of Newcastle visited Monday evening with Mrs. Edna Dobson. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Todd, Scott, Jamie and Billy visited Christmas Eve with Mr. and Mrs. Robert Pearce and Chris, Orono. Miss Deborah Brettell and Mr. Edwin Flak, both of Toronto arrived last Saturday to spend Christmas week with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Brettell and Susan. On Christmas Eve, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Brettell, Deborah and Susan and Mr. David Brettell of Oshawa visited with Bruce's parents Mr. and Mrs. Hartley Brettell, Toronto. Mr. Maurice Hallowed and Scott of Canton visited Tuesday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Llew Hallowed. Mr. and Mrs. John Murphy visited Christmas Eve with Mr. and Mrs. John Gorman, Orono. On Tuesday evening, a few folk from Starkville attended the Christmas Eve service held at Newtonville United Church. Mr. and Mrs. John Windatt, Ellen and Erin spent a few days over Christmas with Pat's brother Mr. and Mrs. Ron Cunningham, Ottawa. They spent Christmas Day with Dr. and Mrs. Don Johnson, Michael, Christopher and Paul, Ottawa. Also attending were Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Cunningham of Picton and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Cunningham, Michael and Adrian of Ottawa. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Stutt were Christmas Eve supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Stutt, Orono for their family Christmas dinner.
