Today, she is a reigning Queen meeting exciting exciting new challenges and a variety of friends from all over the world. The Orono Fair Queen, crowned in September 1985, can't even believe the difference herself between the old and the new Nadine. "Before I did this I was really really nervous about speaking in public," explained the 17-year-old beauty. "Now, since I've been talking at banquets and meetings. I'm not so afraid...I think it's a lot of fun." In addition to representing representing the Fair and assisting in all the events during the three-day show, Nadine has attended various agricultural agricultural conventions and intriguing intriguing modelling, speech, and photo sessions to help prepare her for the up and coming CNE competition.
