He has a big 3 year old sister to play with when he gets bigger. Mr. and Mrs. Len Stainton, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Rowan, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey McGill, Mrs. Lou Griffin, Mrs. Wilfred Bowman, Miss Myrtle Tamblyn, Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Wright and Betty were Saturday dinner and evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. Allan Werry, Orono. Thanks for the delicious meal, Diane and Allan, and the fun and fellowship while playing Lost Heir and Euchre. We also extended happy birthday to Ella, who was celebrating her birthday that day. Diane as always was a perfect hostess. Miss Myrtle Tamblyn, Mrs. Wilfred Bowman were recent dinner guests of Mrs. Clifford Naylor, Columbus, Mr. and Mrs. Ivison Tamblyn, Orono, Mrs. Laura Avery, Kevin and Shaun and Mrs. Ray Demer, Oshawa visited with Myrtle and Elia. We (M and E) were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Eric Bowman and family for brunch celebrating several family birthdays and Jennifer and Eric's wedding anniversary. A number from here attended the supper at the old Tyrone Hall on Sunday evening put on by the hall board. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Trewin were Saturday evening visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Watt, Biackstock. Mr. and Mrs. Berwin Adams, Oshawa were Saturday evening visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Avery. Mr. and Mrs. Brian Hall, Seaforth were weekend visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Virtue and Laurie. Mr. and Mrs. Murray Sanderson, Raglan were Sunday callers of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Wright and Betty. Miss Nancy Groeneveld, Oshawa was a Sunday night dinner guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gary Groeneveld. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Stainton accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Keith McGill on their vacation to the Northern States and spent 2 days with Pastor Joe and Kay Lafave, Nikki and Benji, P.E.I. and went to see Mr. and Mrs. Murray Marshall and family, Mr. and Mrs. George Marshall and family, Nova Scotia, and then were over night guests at Mr. and Mrs. Grant Werry's, Arnprior. On Sunday a good number of worshippers were out for church and Sunday School. Rev, McKinnell had fun time with the children. He chose for his Scriptural Readings - Acts 14:8-18, Revelation 21:1- 6, John 13:31-35. The message was based on 'Even as I Have.' ANNOUNCEMENTS There will be a Mitten Tree Service at Christmas. We are letting you know in plenty of time so you can get knitting you mittens, scarfs, touques, etc. Induction service for Rev. David McKinnell will be Wednesday, September 24th at 7:30 p.m. at Tyrone Church. Everyone welcome. 1st Enniskillen Boy Scouts are in need of leaders for the coming year. A number from here attended the Dedication Service at Hampton United Church on Sunday in memory of the Virtue family. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Howe, Mr, and Mrs. Stuart Lamb went out to supper on Sunday evening and later visited with Mr. and Mrs. Brad Huggins, Pickering in their new home.
