This game was played in two halves as Stouffville won the first half of the game before the Toros woke up and dominated the 2nd half. Stouffville Stouffville led 1-0 until 10:38 of the third period before Paul Goff tied it up from Ian Taggart and Andrew Ferguson on a fine passing play. However, 1 minute later, Greg McMurter backhanded a shot in the top of the net from Paul Lavallee and Brent Strand. This was a picture perfect goal. Stouffville Stouffville tied it at two, 5 minutes later and were using all their top guns for the equalizer. Byron Harnum and Chris Heino played exceptional games for the Toros and both these players were well deserving of stars of the game. On Sunday evening in Lindsay, Lindsay, the Novice Toros lost 5-3 with Lindsay's last marker being scored into an empty net with seven seconds left to play. Bowmanville opened the scoring at 5:59 of the first with .Greg McMurter scoring from Jason Jackman. This game was a tight checking affair and the Toros were caught up ice quite a few times which enabled Lindsay to have many 3 on 2's and 2 on l's. The Toros must try and keep on the pressure for the whole game if they want to continue on their winning ways. A great game between the pipes for Byron Harnum and Ryan Stainton. The name patches the players wore were certainly well received by the parents and the Toro uniform is very colorful and exciting.
