The visitors scored the only goal of the opening period, and added another at the 8:08 mark of the middle stanza to take a 2-0 lead over a lethargic Bowmanville squad, who had not seen any action for over a week. The Toros' Gary Adams scored the first goal for his club at the 7:39 mark of the second period, assisted by his linemates Mark Bradley and Steve Deblois.
