"We're taking it all too lightly," Mayor Winters said during Monday's General Purpose Committee meeting. meeting. "If we know for a fact it's a serious problem, then I think we have to act." He said he was concerned that "inaction" from the town and the regional health department might create a legal liability if someone is seriously injured injured or killed by drinking contaminated water.
