Christmas pot luck supper held at Kirby United Church on Tuesday evening. Mrs. Dawn Brettell spent from Thursday to Monday in Toronto visiting with her daughter and husband Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Flak. On Saturday afternoon, they attended the 50th wedding anniversary open house of their aunt and uncle Mr. and Mrs. Laverne Souch of Bowmanville, which was held at the Bowmanville Baptist church. This is the 17th year that this pageant has been given and over 2,000 people attend each performance. On Sunday, Mr. John DeWitt attended a family gathering held at the home of his niece and husband Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Muizelaar, Erin, Ryan and Casey, Cowanville.
