After having a 3-1 lead, two players were lost to major penalties and Cobourg netted 5 goals on Scott Webster to gain the rare victory. Campbell, Stone and Gallant scored for Bowmanville. " The Toros were still short three players due to illness and injury on Saturday when they met a short-handed Bradford Club in an exhibition game at Darlington. After a slow start which saw the visitors take a 2-1 lead. Scott Webster barred the cage while Gareth Stone, and George Pithie with 2 helped the Flying Dutchman crew come away with a 4-2 win. Glen Campbell scored the first goal in the opening period. Chris Shmyr and John Romano each had two assists while Mark Tripp, Shawn Rekker, Glen Campbell and Gareth Stone had one each. Stouffville were the visitors on Sunday night and the Dutchman Toros went on a scoring spree. Glen Campbell had two goals and two assists with singles going to Gareth Stone, Paul Stainton, John Romano, Mark Tripp " and David Fairey. Scott Webster went the distance in net, due to the illness of Burke Lush,'and allowed one goal while being sharp on a couple of 1 good chances. Team balance in scoring is starting to show with some excellent fore-checking by the aggressive wingers. ; Port Perry is the destination, Monday, Dec. 15th which ends league competition for 1986..
