Mr. and Mrs. L. Christensen and Mr. and Mrs. J. Potts visited Saturday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Art Trewin. Mr. and Mrs. Art (June) Trewin joined by Mr. and Mrs. Will (Lucy) Trewin, Oshawa, at Mr. and Mrs. Walter (May) Loveridge and Charles, Tyrone, to help Mrs Kris (Joy) Vaneyk and Kris of Tyrone celebrate her birthday on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Ashton attended the 45th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Art (Marg) Leadbeater, Enniskillen at the church. Saturday evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Adams were Mr. and Mrs. Al (Linda) Wrightley of Havelock. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Lowery, Toronto, were Sunday visitors with John and Diane Adams and family. Mr. and Mrs. John (Dora) White of Courtice were also Sunday callers with Mr. and Mrs. J. Adams. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle (Dorothy) Chatten of Brighton called on Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Rusaw on Sunday afternoon. Last Thursday, Sean Liptay attended the birthday of his friend Tony Willson of Tyrone and the group of boys were taken to the circus at the Maple Leaf Gardens at Toronto. Mr. and Mrs. Steve Liptay and family visited with Mr. and Mrs. Bruce (Brenda) Mills and family of Enniskillen on Saturday. Mrs. Blanche Jones attended the Bowling Tournament at Liberty Bowl, Bowmanville on Sunday morning. We enjoyed the team and the exercise but I think that it is - Why, oh why, can't our marks improve at these times. Mr. and Mrs. Brent Cochrane, Cindy and Kathy were lunch guests with Bev's parents Mr. and Mrs. Keith Miller of Sunderland. Mrs. Dorie Christensen called down last Monday night to have birthday cake with Master Christopher Potts at his parents' home when he celebrated his 12th birthday. Mr. and Mrs. John Bertrim joined brothers and sisters and families at a family dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George (Margaret) Bertrim at Brechin on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Jack (Gladys) Potts were Friday evening supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Bill (Kim) Potts and John where there was a surprise birthday party for Jack. Happy birthday Jack, keep them coming. Saturday afternoon was a busy place at Mr. and Mrs. Steve Millson's when Andrew had his third birthday. His five little friends were cousins Jennie and Jessie Millson of Bowmanville, Master Gerritt Dodds from Enniskillen and Miss Emily Vaneyk and little brother Blaine. On Sunday the adults got to enjoy Andrew's birthday which is on the 24th. Those present were grandparents Alfred and Peggy Millson and Don and Ruth Cowle of Bowmanville. Mr. and Mrs. John (June) McKeen, Garden Hill, and Mr. and Mrs. Bill (Donna) Mairs and Mandy. Happy birthday Andrew. Mr. and Mrs. Dick (Val) Lloyd and girls Sarah and Nicola attended the show (Cats) at Toronto on Monday evening. Miss Lindsay York, Burketon, visited with Miss Sarah Lloyd on Sunday. Miss Nicola Lloyd will take a flying lesson on Monday when she leaves the Brownies and flies up to Guides. Sometime, I must ask why they fly instead of jogging up. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon (Mary Lou) Wolfe of Crysler were Friday and Saturday guests with Mr.and Mrs. Alfred Millson. Mr. Tom Millson and Mark, Ncwtonville called on his parents Mr. and Mrs. A. Millson Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. John McKeen visited with Peggy and Alf Millson on Sunday and accompanied them to Andrew Millson's party at Steve and Cindy's for supper. Tuesday evening, Mrs. Norma Kennedy, Nick and Brandee joined with Mrs. George Bowen Jr. and Melissa of Orono and went to the show in Bowmanville and treats after. Friday evening, Ricky Adams watched movie at home with Nick Kennedy and stayed over. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Campbell, Orono, were Sunday afternoon callers with Mr.and Mrs. Cecil Kennedy and Mr. Guy Kennedy and Miss Jane Kinlin of Oshawa were Sunday supper guests with Cecil and Norma Kennedy and Nick. Miss Brandee Kennedy was a Sunday supper guest with Miss Julio Adams. Mr.tmcl Mrs. Hugh Degeer, Bctlmny, were recent callers with Miss Corn Degeer.
