Son of the late Angus and Maude McQuarrie, lie was born in Manvers, Durham County, and educated in Bowmanville, He was married married to Florence E. Chartran, September 21,1956. Owner and operator of Cliffcrest Cleaners, he had resided most of his life in Bowmanville with the exception exception of nine years in Highland Creek.
