Eyesore Greets Walkers Near Mouth of Bowmanville Creek This is certainly not the kind of land use the Central Central Lake Ontario Conservation Authority has in mind for the Bowmanville Creek Valley area. The (bur dead salmon along with a large quantity of garbage garbage were observed last week beside the creek, just south of Highway 401. There was no indication of who had caused the eyesore. But it should serve as a reminder to anglers and any others. The creek and marsh area are to be used and enjoyed, but not abused.
