On Tuesday Mr. Jim Stacey Stacey took Harold Couch to Sunnybrook Hospital, Toronto, Toronto, where they visited Harold's brother, Mr. Stan Couch. United Church News Flowers from the funeral of Miss Isabel Allin graced the sanctuary of Newcastle United Church on Sunday, August 30,1987. Lay reader was Mrs. Sheila Stiles and providing special music were Mr. Roby Coombes and son Wayne Coombes. Reverend Donald Stiles preached the last in his series. In the early evening hours of Friday, Ted Denny of Bowmanville Audio-Vision and Harry Locke of Orchard Park Furniture were keeping busy at their barn sale at the west end of Bowmanville. The large building was well stocked with merchandise and customers were taking advantage of many bargains.
