Mrs. Val Lloyd, Sarah and Nicola, drove to Winnipeg and visited with Mr. and Mrs. Paul Sherratt for two weeks and returned home just before the week-end so Val could play Lobb Ball with the Enniskillen Jensen team in their tournament. The team came breezing through as runners up. Mr. and Mrs. John Adams called on Mr. and Mrs. Ray (Carol) Morden of Blackstock on Saturday. John and Diane called on Mr. and Mrs. John Bertrim and were Sunday supper guests. Sunday night the J. Adamses called on her parents parents Mr. and Mrs. R. Lott, of Enniskillen. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Jones and girls, Welland, were callers of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Jones, on Friday afternoon. Johnny Jones and children, children, Oshawa, visited on Sunday afternoon with Jack, Blanche and Sandy Jones. Mr. Bob Jones and Heather, Miss Laura and Master Billie Bourne were Sunday supper guests with the Joneses before they headed out for a big fishing trip. Master Adam Millson played in the soccer tournament tournament at Waverley School park on the Tyrone team. They tied the first game but lost the second one. At least they didn't play in the rain. Following the ball game, Miss Cindy Millson, Adam and Andrew went to see Miss Jennie Millson and were treated to birthday cake. It was Jennie's seventh birthday. Then the Millsons stopped to see Mr. and Mrs. Bill Mail's and girls. Andrew Andrew stayed overnight and accompanied the Mairs to Lindsay to visit with the grandparents. Alfred and Peggy Millson and Jason Ruelland were Sunday supper guests of Steve and Cindy Millson and boys. Mr. and Mrs. Brent (Bcv) Cochrane helped Bev's parents, parents, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Miller, Miller, move from Sunderland to Lindsay on Saturday. The Millers have had a busy summer -- a sale, a trip out west and now a move to theirnewhome in Lindsay. On Sunday, Brent and Bcv Cochrane and girls were together together with cousins, Floyd and Norma Huffman, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Minnaker, Doug and Jean Black, all from Belleville and Mrs. Isabel Cochrane at Peterborough. Peterborough. Our Club 21 meeting will be at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 8th and will include include a Tupperwarc parly. Please notice the date. We have a Community Picnic coming up as most of the plans are made for September September 13th and a rain date if needed for the following Sunday, September 20th. So, plan to attend and enjoy yourselves. Congratulations to Miss Sarah Dewsbury who had her fifth birthday on Saturday. Saturday. Thursday, Mr. and Mrs. Larry (Bari)) Grawbarger (Walsh) and family joined a family going away parly to wish good luck to Mr. Michael Walsh who is leaving leaving for Lars, Germany with the Armed Forces. This party was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Walsh of Ajax. Larry and Barb Grawbarger Grawbarger attended a birthday party for Rob Robson, of Oshawa, on Saturday. Mrs. Kim Potts played Lobb ball on the Enniskillen Enniskillen Jensen team "A" Division Division over the week-end in Solina. Master John Potts look part in the Tyrone team at the soccer tournament at Waverley School park. Congratulations to the winners and to those who didn't quite make it. Mr. and Mrs. Allan Reid, of Oshawa, and Mrs. Audrey Reid, Bowmanville, were Tuesday callers with Ail and Jean Garrard and family. family. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd (Jean) Slemon and Fred attended the Steam Show at Uxbridge Uxbridge on Sunday and enjoyed enjoyed the threshing part of the show and there were several older cars that the men always enjoy.
