On Monday, August 24th, Mr. and Mrs. George Howell Wilson of Vancouver called in the area to learn more of the Wilson family. He is a descendant of thc Mr. Wilson Wilson who came to Toronto and Markham in 1832 from Yorkshire. One of his sons was George who, in 1874, purchased purchased thc Port Hope Guide. He had written in 1862, his memoirs up to the year 1853 so they contain no information information of this area.
