Mrs. E. Burton is back to teaching again after her sick spell. Jeffery Burton has been home with a cold. There seems to be several who have a type of flu and cold in the area. they i ited with Kim Mercer at their new home. Mrs. C. Mercer helped entertain entertain the seniors at Greenwood Greenwood Towers on Friday with singing and playing, Mrs. L. White, Mrs. Anders and Mrs. Clara Sheppard also visited the seniors. The seniors met as usual Mr. and Mrs. Plooard were absent as they were visiting their daughter. In their absence no one had turned on the heat so we had to wait for the hall to heat up but we managed. Mrs. Beryl Dekoker spent Wednesday with Thicksons. Mrs. Sevenhuysen and Mrs. Fowler attended the H.M.S. Pinafore at the Royal Alexandra Alexandra on Wednesday. They also had lunch with Mrs. Sevenhuysen Senior,Toronto. Senior,Toronto. Vera Peacock had a dinner party on Thursday evening and had Mr. and Mrs. H. Quantrill; Mr. and Mrs. A. Peacock; Mr.and Mrs. J. Peacock; Peacock; Dorothy Bell and Shane Peacock was home on Thursday also. She had a roast turkey dinner. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Russell left Friday after the week spent hunting. No deer were shot but all had a good time anyway. Mr. and Mrs. E. Elliott visited visited at Mr.and Mrs. Seven- huysen's in Keene, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Greer and two boys, Peterborough, were also there. The Elizabeth ville Sunday School will hold their Christ mas concert December 20th at 7:30 p.m. Mr. and Mrs. H. Quantrill had Mr. and Mrs. Ferguson, Brighton, for tea Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Mul- drew, Port Hope had dinner with his mother on Saturday. Saturday.
