Chris McCarthy and Jeremy Woodcock were called up to the "A" team. We welcome our new players and wish Chris and Jeremy the best with their new team. The new players fit in well as they went right to work and started scoring goals immediately. Port Perry Perry opened the scoring with two quick goals and led Bowmanville 2-1 at the end of the second period. However, However, the Toros came to life and scored four goals in the third period. This was one of the best games our team has played this year. Final score, Bowmanville 5 - Port Perry 3. Goals were scored by Mark Bradley 2, Matt Dykstra Dykstra 2, Terry VanLonden 1. Assists went to Matt Dykstra 2, Tyson Pearcey, Tracy Lemke, Matt Aitken, Chris Aitken, Steve DeBlois and Dan Couillard. The Toros travelled to Newcastle on December 2 to meet Newcastle for the first time this year. Both teams played reasonably well with the Toros winning 2-0. Jamie Jamie Rekker got the shutout. Tire Atoms Setting Hot Pace The Canadian Tire Atom Toros completed another busy week winning 3 games with 1 tie. December 2, Toros 3 Co- bourg 3. The Canadian Tire Toros travelled on Wednesday to Cobourg and played not one- of their better efforts but managed a come from behind behind tie. Mike Nesbitt, who has been setting a hot pace in the last eight games, scored midway midway thru tne 1st period with Doug Parkin assisting. The Toros then let Cobourg carry the play scoring 3 times before before the 2nd period was over. Early in the 3rd period Ryan Robinson from Warren Warren Bate and Bruce Harnum brought the Toros within one goal.
