Hall. St. George's Anglican Church, Newcastle, was filled to capacity on Sunday the ecclesiastical procession procession was led by St. George's verger, Mr. Sam Brereton. In the procession were the Rev. Canon Terence Terence Tarleton of St. Peter's Cobourg, the Rev. Paul Walker of St. Mark's, Port Hope, the Rev. John Reid, of St. John's Port Hope, the Rev. Chris Williams of St. George's Hastings, the Rev. David Wainwright of St. Alban's Peterborough, the Rev. Donald Bellway of Grafton and Colborne Parish, the Rev. Morrison Campbell of St. Andrew's Presbyterian and the Rev. Owen MacPherson of St. John's United Church, both of Campbellford. Several other clergy were among the congregation including the Rev. Allan Haldenby, former rector of Clarke and the Rev. Donald Stiles of Newcastle United Church, from whom it was necessary to borrow additional hymn books for the service. In the congregation of 200 were many out-of-town visitors, visitors, including several from Campbellford where Mr. Hall was formerly the Rector of Christ Church. As well there were representa tives of the Metro Toronto Police Force with whom Mr. Hall served before being ordained ordained and of which he is honorary chaplain. After the service the ACW of the two churches hosted a reception in the Parish Hall.
