YWCA Offers DBS Bands and Choir Entertain Large Crowd at Annual Concert Wide Variety Of Programs Puppets, knights in shining shining armour, dinosaurs, teddy bears, ballet, skiing and Sunday brunch are all part of the Town of Newcastle's Newcastle's YWCA winter 1988 programs.- A perusal of the recently distributed YWCA brochure reveals several innovative one day programs programs for youngsters as well as a chance for the older generation to get out for some winter fun. Much of the credit for the action-packed winter program program goes to program coordinator, coordinator, Donna Morrison. This winter marks the introduction introduction of a dance program program from the YWCA. Inta Leja, the Director and Principal Teacher of the Studio of Dance and Performing - Arts, and a member of the Royal Academy of Dancing, will be the instructor for a wide variety of dance classes. She was previously teaching teaching in Bowmanvillc, and recently recently joined with the YWCA to offer this very popular program. Classes in ballet, pre-dance, jazz, and tap for children five years of age and over will be offered at both Ontario Street Public School and Waverley Public School, starting in January. The popular programs for children five years of age and under, will also be starting again in January. Various classes, including including gymnastics, story-telling, story-telling, and crafts, will be running running for an eight week period beginning in the new year.
