Skaters End 1987-88 Season Happy First Birthday By Fat Carter. The Bowman ville Figure Skating Club closed its 87-88 season March 30th with a family skate for each session, which was enjoyed by all. Vaneyk The women of Long Sault Club 50 catered to a bowling banquet at Centennial Hall, Bowmanville, on Saturday evening. April 30th. The 60 Plus luncheon which is usually held at the Old Tyrone Hall has been postponed for the month of May; June 8th is the next date for lunch which is followed followed by a game of euchre. Hazel Smith, Bowmanville, Bowmanville, and Grace Smith, Long Sault, visited their cousins, Mrs. Rose Lunn and Mrs. Sadie Sadie Stewart, Oshawa. Stan and Lynn Gylytiuk, and family, Orono, hosted a family gathering in honour of Jennifer Yeo and Russell Langford prior to their marriage marriage in Tyrone Church on May 28,1988. Around the Church The day was just right for the Walk-Bike-Athon which was sponsored by the Finance Finance Committee on May 1st.
