Bowmanville 623-6353 In an exciting ending to the Christmas holiday season, season, Hutton Transport of the BRHL Atom Division became became the Oshawa Checkers Variety Tournament Atom champions with each player going home with his first trophy trophy of the season. All four of the games played took place in Harman Park from Tuesday, Tuesday, December 27 to Friday, December 30. Well done, team! 401 Esso Drops Christmas Game On Christmas Eve, 401 hosted an exhibition game with Christ Church from the Oshawa Church League. Santa was just a little stingy in handing out breaks to Esso that day, although they worked hard they went down to a 2-1 defeat. This was a fast paced game with lots of determination determination shown on the part of both teams. Ryan Pingle lit up the scoreboard for Esso at 9:42 of the first on a pass from Ronnie Leger.
