Aimer Orlo Trimble, aged 85, died Tuesday, Tuesday, December 20, 1988, in Memorial Hospital, Bow- manville. Son of John and Ida (Henry) Trimble, he was born and educated in Bowmanville. Bowmanville. He was married September 25,1930, to Mar- iorie Aileen Niddery. He had been a resident at Newcastle Multi Care, Newcastle for two years and had previously previously resided at R.R.2, Bowmanville. Bowmanville. A carpenter by trade he had been employed by Oshawa Wood Products. Brown's Wood Products and MacDonald Ford, Oshawa, retiring 15 years ago. A member of Brethren Church Oshawa, he was also a member of the Elks Lodge, and also served in the Cavalry Cavalry Reserve. Surviving are his sons and daughters John, Robert, Jim, Joan Faryna, Gloria Al- dred and Pat Denny. Brothers Brothers and sisters Ida Fice, Ella Lovering, Ed and Lloyd Trimble. Funeral services were held on Thursday with a nephew, Herman Fice, officiating. officiating. Pallbearers were Elroy, Elroy, Dean and Rodney Trimble, Trimble, Jamie Aldred, Steven Faryna and John Denny. Son of Albert and Effie Bellman, he was born and educated in Bowmanville. He was married in 1928 to the late Ruth Winifred Haines, and in 1962 to Lois Pollard. He had farmed at R.R.2 Bowmanville for 49 years, retiring 12 years ago and taking up residence at 50 Liberty St. N., Bowmanville at that time. He was a member member of the Bowmanville Salvation Salvation Army Corps. Surviving are his wife Lois, son Haines Bellman, Walkerton, and a daughter Janie Kessler, Saskatoon, Sask. Funeral services were conducted by Captain Rick Shirran, at the Morris Funeral Funeral Chapel, Bowmanville, on Tuesday. The organist was Helen McDonald. Pallbearers were Dana and Doam Bellman, Alfred Allin, Ron, Michael and Dan Pollard. Born March 27th, 1909, son of the late Sidney James Hockaday and Nellie May Cowling, he attended Eldad Church and Solina public school, his only teacher being being the late Mr. R. J. McKes- sock. A life-long resident of Solina, Solina, he farmed successfully following in the footsteps of his late father Sidney and his late grandfather Francis Hockaday. He had a large egg route in Bowmanville for several years. He retired from farming 14 years ago. He loved music, enjoyed visiting friends and travelling, travelling, attending many fiddle and step dancing contests even to Vermont and Gailex Virginia, U.S.A. He was 25 yr. Sec. Treas of Solina Hall and served as trustee on the former Solina School board. On September 24, 1938, he married Norma Yellow- lees and they quietly celebrated celebrated 50 years of happy married life. His life centred around his home and family and community. He is survived by his wife Norma, daughter Evelyn and son-in-law Barry Browes, Eileen, all of Solina, Jean and son-in-law George Franklin of Oshawa, five grandchildren, several cousins, cousins, predeceased by only son Bruce Edgar. Funeral services were held at the Morris Funeral Chapel, Bowmanville on Friday, Friday, December 16, 1988. Reverend Douglas Warren officiating. Floral tokens from close neighbours, relatives and friends, with many donations donations to Eldad Church and the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Foundation. Pall-bearers were Chas. Langmaid, Bill Ashton, Murray Murray Flett, Russell Best, Fred Watson and Arnott Wotten.
