The sixth annual St. Paul's Performing Arts series is in full swing after a successful successful performance March 8 by pianists Catherine Wilson and John Arpin (both pictured here). The duo, both Canadian, entertained the audience with selections ranging from compositions by Mozart to more recent numbers such as Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Memory" and Wright and Forrest's "Stranger in Paradise" from "Kismet". The pair played some of their own music as well. The concert took place at the Bowmanvillc High School Auditorium. The meeting was well attended and the objectives of the trip and the itinerary of activities activities was presented and approved approved unanimously. Many times during the year the Ontario St. yard is too muddy to play on so Ms. Summersides has supplied skipping ropes, rubber balls ana floor hockey sticks in order order to provide activities for the students. This month at Ontario St. school is a busy one. The children will be participating participating in several interesting events: -Feb. 7 & 22: skating at the new arena. - Feb. 15, 16, 17: the grade 6's to camp TAWIN- GOin Huntsville. -Feb. 20: "SPEAK OFF" will be held for selected junior junior students.
