CANADIAN Golf Course Tykes Capture 6 A' Crown Newcastle Golf Course Tykes travelled to Colborne this past Saturday to play in the Anamet Invitational Tyke Tournament. They won 3 games taking the "A" Championship. The 1st game of the day saw Newcastle taking on Belleville, winning by an 8-3 margin. They nut Belleville in a hole early by taking a 3- 0 1st period lead. Belleville pulled close in the 2nd making making the score 4-2, but that was as close as they would get as Newcastle scored 2 goals to start the 3rd and then cruised the rest of the ■ way. From here on things 1 would be more difficult however however ns they faced a Trenton team who had beaten a Peterborough Peterborough squad by an 11-0 score earlier in the day.
