Feb. 12 Bowmanville 2 * , ve Baltimore 1 Following their less than successful trip to Havelock on' Sat., Feb 11th, the Bell Girls trundled up to Baltimore Baltimore on Sun., Feb. 12 to commence a round robin playoff to determine the two teams who will face off for the "B" Division Champion- shin of the United Counties Girls Hockey Association. It was a good clean encounter encounter that produced quite a see-saw battle. Fortunately,! Fortunately,! the Bell Toros were able to hang on to a 2-1 lead late in the 3rd with Tina Millson performing her magic between between the Bell pipes. .The Bell scoring came at 4:Q1 of the 1st frame when Joanna Hall converted a nice pass from Tammy McMullen to give the Bell bunch a 1-0 lead. The winner winner was notched at 5:34 of the 2nd by Shannon Houston Houston who was set-up by rearguards rearguards Cynthia Hilliard and Annissa Aus. Good effort team! Tues. Feb. 21st Havelock ve Bowmanville 4 Game #2 of the Round Robin series against Havelock Havelock was an easier task than game 1. It was at 4:17 of the 3rd when Havelock surprised a lapsing Bell crew with their only goal. Just 7 seconds later, later, Joanna Hall retaliated with Bell's 4th and final goal on an unassisted effort. Excellent outing you Bell bunch! Sat Feb. 25th Baltimore 0 ve Bowmanville 0 There certainly isn't much to report about this contest. The Bell crew out shot their rivals 17-7, but no one could light the score- board. Better luck next game, girls! Wed., March let Bowmanville 6 ve Bewdley 2 The Bewdley crew who had been eliminated from the "A " Division race, invited invited the Bell Toros to town for an exhibition game while they were waiting for their next playoff contest. It was a fun trip and prosperous for some of the gals. Patti Doherty Doherty displayed her marksmanship marksmanship by notching 2 goals. Shannon Houston also found the mark twice as well as assisting on one. Yvonne Youngberg's hustle earned her a goal and 2 assists. assists.
