There were representatives from all three groups. We discussed several items. We decided to hold a Strawberry supper June 23. Friday, three sitting; sitting; Adults 8:00; children under 12 and waiters 4:00; under grade one free. A Christmas dinner and meeting meeting will be held December 6. Mrs. Sybol Davis has agreed to be social convenor in lace of Dorothy Longyear, mnch was served by Mrs. Peacock. On Tuesday afternoon the Elizabethville unit of the Garden Hill U.C.W. met at Mr. and Mrs. J. Peacock' s home. The President Mrs. K. Trew had the devotional and Mrs. Peacock introduced the book on South Africa that we plan to study for this year. She had a map and named the areas. The minutes minutes were read by Mrs. Quantrill and bills paid. We have been asked to help with the boxed lunches for the conference coming in' May at Port Hope. Lunch was served by Mrs. Mae Muldrew and Mrs. Peacock. Thursday the seniors met and their pot luck dinner is the 30 for March birthdays. Mr. and Mrs. J. Peacock visited Mrs. Julia Jackson last week. She is in a rest home in Peterborough. They also visited Mr. and Mrs. Joe Peacock. Church services were held with an extra large crowd over 85 attending.
