MOTORCYCLE TRAINING -- Durham College is sponsoring sponsoring a Motorcycle Training Course to begin April 14, continuing until September 17. The season will consist of the usual Thursday-Saturday schedule and each evening's first race will commence at 7:30 p.m. PONY CLUB QUIZ AT DURHAM -- Durham College will be the site for the 1989 Central Ontario Regional Pony Club Quiz which takes place on Saturday, April 29, from nine a.m. to 12 noon. Approximately 30 clubs from the central region will take part in oral, visual and written tests designed to challenge the pony clubber's clubber's knowledge of horse care, stable management and the Canadian Pony Club. Approximately.'125 participants participants ranging in age from nine to 21 will take part in the quiz. The first period saw the Peelers take a 1-0 lead on a goal by Rick Stephenson at 11:56 assisted by Dean Cox and Bill Robinson which proved to be the winner. In the end they were the champions champions winning all four games: 7-4 against N.O.H.A., 11-4 against M.T.H.L., 6-2 against Elliot Lake Saints and 7-5 against New Lis- keard Lions in the championship championship finals. Special congratulations go to Greg Healey whose hustle and play-making led the scoring with 14 points for the senes.
