Writer Urges Town to Wake Up Dear Sir: ."H., L. I enjoyed reading your paper to-day and was very interested to hear of the plans for the proposed enlargement enlargement of the Clarke Museum Museum at Kirby. I tip my hat to Mark Jackman for the fine work that he is doing as Curator. I also notice that Council has approved these plans and are expected to supply some funds. What puzzles me is there doesn't seem to be any interest regarding regarding the state of the Bowmanville Museum building building on Silver Street by Council. Most people know that the roof leaks and the outside outside of the house needs painting very badly. I notice that when the old piano factory factory is sold to a developer, Bowmanville seems to wake up. Is the Museum building to be allowed to run down until the cost of repairs is astronomical. How about you, Mr. Cu- reatz? A lady in a letter to The Statesman called you a "Jerk." The state of Bowmanville Bowmanville Museum building is something you could surely surely get your teeth into. Come on, Bowmanville, wake up!. Anything worth having costs money, and our Museum which is rated as one of the finest smaller museums in Canada, is surely worth keeping in first class repair.
