Our November meeting started a little late on November November 6th at the Community Community Centre with 11 members members present. Secretary opened the meeting with the collection being received. The correspondence was read - a thank you from the 2nd Enniskillen Brownies and a thank you from Fred Sybil and Amanda Smith. Secretary read her report of the October meeting. Barb Walsh read two readings - "You know you're getting older" and "How to stay young." Roll Call was answered by - What you want for Christmas. Barb read - A prayer for a secretary. At this time,Wilbur Blackburn took the chair and conducted the installing of the three Hall Board members. Val Lloyd nominated Barb Walsh as chairperson. Barb accepted. Betty Roth nominated Wendy Bourgeous as Vice Chairperson-Wendy Accepted. Accepted. Barb Walsh nominated Lynn Roth as the third member - Lynn accepted after after some discussion. It was put forth that Jan Mayer be asked to be the fourth member of the Board. Barb read a letter sent by the mother of the girl we have sponsored "Padma Kre- mari" and passed it around. Secretary read a letter from the Town of Newcastle pertaining to Grants and Activities Activities - Meeting will be held November 15 at the Community Centre. Barb Walsh and Jan Mayer plan to attend. Secretary turned the paper attached to the letter over to Barb to have filled out for our grant which must be sent in by November. November. December 2nd had been noted in the May meeting - the first Saturday in December December for our Christmas Pot Luck supper and concert. December 15th the Club Christmas Party at Val Lloyd's home about 8 p.m. ■ Barb suggested a gift to the Secret Pal about $5.00. June Trewin suggested we get a new idea as this secret pal scheme has gone stale. We shall have a discussion discussion on that, perhaps at the party. Betty Roth offered to contact contact Gerlinda Haunstein to get a tree for the Centre, December December 2nd Christmas Pot Luck.
